A Guide to Printing with FedEx Office

When you have any print material (postcards, business cards, flyers, etc.) you can have us order the prints for you (either from FedEx Office or elsewhere) or you can order the prints yourself. This guide will show you how to complete the print order with FedEx Office.

1. Get your designs
After your design is complete, you should receive a final design file. You’ll need this to upload to FedEx.

2. Go to FedEx Website
For some reason, if you go directly to fedex.com, it’s difficult to find what we need so you can go directly to https://www.fedex.com/en-us/printing.html or just Google “FedEx Printing” and choose the first link that’s not an ad.

3. Start Order
At the link above, you’ll find “Ready to print?” Start Order button a little bit below the header.

4. Choose Your Product
There will be a lot of options to choose from, depending on what your print is. For this guide, we’ll be using Postcard Print. So we will go to Marketing Materials then choose Show More Products and then select Get Started on Postcards. Choose Upload Your Own, the one with only one graphic area.

5. Choose Sizing
Your options are 4.25″x5.5″ and 5.5″x8.5″, depending on the size of the design, choose whichever. If you don’t know the size of your design, reach out to us and we will let you know! (325) 266-1560.

6. Upload Designs
You’ll start with the “Front” of the postcard, but in reality it doesn’t matter because you can just flip it over right? Haha. Select the Upload button and select the file you want to upload. Then select Select Logos or Photos button since this file is on our computer.

Here’s an example of the uploaded design, we’re using Jossey for this example, 👋 hi jossey!

The border area around the design is the “Safe Area” it’s the area that may be cut off during production to ensure your design doesn’t have any white edges. We generally try to make sure that this are doesn’t include any important information. If your uploaded design has important information in this Safe Area, please try another size option first then contact us if the issue persists. We will be glad to assist.

7. Upload Back Design
Select the Back tab at the top and upload the back design. Here’s what that looks like.

8. Continue and choose Quantity
Select the Continue button at top right and wait for it to load. Then you will choose aspects of your print such as paper type (left side) or quantity (right side).

9. Add to cart
When you’re happy with the options, choose add to cart. Then checkout as guest (if you want to login or make an account – I would suggest you open another tab and then go to FedEx printing again to login, just so you don’t risk losing your progress! Then you can go back to the checkout page and refresh, you should be logged in already.

10. Choose pickup or delivery
You can search for FedEx Office locations near you if you wish to pickup or choose delivery. Pay and that’s it!

Let me know if you have any questions, hope this guide is helpful!
